You asked for it... here he is,  Peruvian Lorenzo!  His sire is Peruvian Black Ice, an outstanding black  male retained by Phil Mizrahie, Pet Center, Inc. for their own private herd.  Phil really knows quality alpacas and we were delighted when Black Ice came to stand stud at our farm several years ago.  Peruvian Lorenzo takes after his great sire in fleece density and excellent character, very rare in black alpacas.

We believe there are two reasons why Lorenzo is so excellent.  His sire is certainly one.  His dam, 5Peruvian Lozania, is the other.  Lozania is also the dam of Peruvian Logan, and Peruvian Lenox, a champion male sold to River View Alpacas.  The story does not stop here.  It is not unusual for Peruvian Lozania to produce beautiful color!  She has a black son by accoyo Peruvian Titan named Lethal Weapon, pictured below, who is absolutely stunning.
